Cam Ward Names His Top 4 NFL Wide Receivers

Cam Ward may know where he's starting his NFL career.

The former Miami quarterback will learn his landing spot when the 2025 NFL Draft begins in Green Bay next Thursday. Ward isn't likely to wait long, as he's considered the increasing favorite to get selected No. 1 overall by the Tennessee Titans.

Ward is seemingly preparing to begin his NFL career in Nashville.

While live-streaming himself playing Fortnite, Ward named his top-four NFL wide receivers. Along with superstars Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson, he made two pointed selections by picking Titans wideouts Calvin Ridley and Treylon Burks.

For those wondering if that's just a coincidence, Ward started his top-four running backs with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears.

The betting markets justify Ward's apparent confidence in going to Tennessee. DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Heisman Trophy finalist at -10000 odds to go No. 1 overall, a 99.01 percent implied probability.

The Titans appear ready to move on from Will Levis after finishing each of the last two seasons 26th in scoring. They "earned" the top pick by winning three games in 2024.

Ward told Titans brass he was "solidifying" his standing as the top choice at Miami's pro day last month. Head coach Brian Callahan didn't exactly dispute that claim.

"His tape is excellent, he's a really good player," Callahan said of Ward. "Here, it just kind of confirms it. You get to see the ball come off his hands, and you get to see his footwork, see his body, see how the ball travels. Those are all things you like to see in person."

Ward could have saddened Titans fans by naming former star A.J. Brown among his top wideouts. He instead chose Burks, whom Tennessee selected with the first-round pick acquired for Brown in 2022.

Through three seasons, Burks has caught 53 of 92 targets for 699 yards and a touchdown. He caught four passes in five games before suffering a season-ending ACL tear, so few fans outside the Music City will include the 25-year-old among their favorite receivers.

Meanwhile, Ridley registered 1,072 yards and five touchdowns in his first season of a four-year, $92 million contract. He could become Ward's top target if the Titans make him the No. 1 pick and give him the starting job.
