Chiefs Stars Mahomes And Kelce Add New Roles

Patrick Mahomes is a lot of things. Now you can add author to the list.

Mahomes, who is a three-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player, is also a dad, a husband and a quarterback. 

He wrote a children's book which has recently been released which talks about his life growing up as the son of a professional baseball player. He talks about the college years and ultimately what it is like to be an NFL quarterback.

"A sporting legend who is loved by all, Patrick’s achievements reflect his tenacity, drive and belief in himself," the book's description reads.

"This would make a great little gift for a young fan or even an old one," one fan said.

"My daughter loves this book and I have to read it every night before bed!" another fan said.

Mahomes is not the only member of the Chiefs to write a book recently. Travis Kelce has also written a biography with his brother Jason, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles. 

For Kelce, the 24-page book includes details about his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift. It also talks about the brothers' careers in the NFL. 

The Kelce's book has been getting rave reviews on Amazon, where the book can be purchased.

The Sun has published the quotes of fans who have commented on the Kelce's book.

"Gotta love the Kelce brothers. I purchased this to add to the Taylor Swift book collection," one fan said.

"Big Eagles fan. Once I saw this I knew I had to have it. The brothers are great together," another fan said.

"I got this for my mom as part of her Christmas present. She just loved it and it just shows it is not just for kids!" a third fan said."This was a wonderful story about two superheroes!" a fourth fan said.
