AEW Dynasty would house the third match between Adam Cole and Daniel Garcia as their previous two matches ended via a no-contest and a time-limit draw. The trilogy bout promised there would be no interferences and no time limit, giving Garcia and Cole all the time needed to finish this feud.
With those stipulations put into the match, was Daniel Garcia finally able to pick up a clean victory over Adam Cole and keep his championship, or did Adam Cole capture his first AEW title since arriving back in 2021?

Fight after fight, Adam Cole came out wearing gear based on The Witcher franchise and finally slayed the monster that had stopped him from capturing the AEW TNT Championship. After an intense battle between the two, and moves stolen from each other's moveset, Cole became a champion in AEW once more.
This is the first title that Cole has won since before his injury in 2023, when he held the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships alongside his former partner MJF.
Daniel Garcia captured the AEW TNT Championship from Jack Perry back at Full Gear 2024, and it would mark his first title in AEW. He previously held the Ring of Honor Pure Championship for 94 days.
During his reign, he would successfully defend against Mark Briscoe, Katsuyori Shibata, Kyle O'Reilly, and Lee Moriarty, with all of those defenses taking place on Collision. Dynasty was his first pay-per-view defense.
