Former Boston Red Sox and San Diego Padres' top prospect Anderson Espinoza has officially signed on to play in Japan for the 2024 season. The Orix Buffaloes of the NPB announced the signing on social media: The 25-year-old was a top prospect of Boston who was dealt to the Padres in exchange for pitcher Drew Pomeranz.
