Texans to make flurry of moves to improve team's depth

Derek Barnett is staying in Houston, as Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports. After being claimed off waivers by the Texans in 2023, Barnett remained with the club via a one-year, $2M pact last offseason and will sign a one-year, $5M deal this year.

Texans Re-Signing LB Jake Hansen To One-Year, $1.7 Million Deal

The Houston Texans are re-signing LB Jake Hansen to a one-year deals worth $1.7 million with upside to $2 million, according to Jeremy Fowler. Hansen, 26, wound up going undrafted following the 2022 draft out of the University of Illinois.
