Iron Range school hires Stanley Cup champion Matt Niskanen as boys head coach

VIRGINIA, Minn. — The Rock Ridge school board has approved Matt Niskanen as the newest head coach of its boys hockey program. The 37-year-old former NHLer and Stanley Cup champion landed the job in his hometown.
