VIRGINIA, Minn. — The Rock Ridge school board has approved Matt Niskanen as the newest head coach of its boys hockey program. The 37-year-old former NHLer and Stanley Cup champion landed the job in his hometown.
His 13-year NHL career comes to an end with 72 goals and 284 assists for 356 points in 949 games played.
