‘What An Addition’: Avalanche, Hinote Excited About Their Reunion
The rookies hit the ice for the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday, signaling the start of hockey season in Denver. Later today, they’ll all head to Los Angeles for the Rookie Faceoff tournament, but before doing so, they spent nearly two hours getting some work in on the ice.

One Avalanche Fan Favorite Replaces Another As Eagles Associate Head Coach
Steve Konowalchuk only played 110 games for the Colorado Avalanche, but quickly became a fan favorite because of the way he played the game. The NHL veteran spent a bit of time behind Colorado’s bench a decade ago, but most recently returned to be the Associate Head Coach for the Colorado Eagles last season.
